SCHOOL BOARD
MEMBERS (pdf) PRESS RELEASE
At a Special Meeting on March 14, the Governing Board interviewed four applicants to complete the term of Lynnette Lipp who resigned in January to move to Southern California. Fortunately a strong field of candidates was available and Gwendolyn K. Christeson was selected by the end of the morning. Mrs. Christeson and her husband reside in Pioneer where their three children attend Pioneer Elementary School.
The Governing Board was seeking a colleague that would be able to assist in defining and resolving issues facing Amador County Schools. The Board believes that it has found this individual in Mrs. Christeson who is the owner of The Estate Planning Law Center in Historic Downtown Jackson. Mrs. Christeson is described by community members as flexible and receptive to change while maintaining a positive and effective working relationship with others. She has gained the reputation of analyzing situations accurately while communicating clearly and concisely.
Mrs. Christeson will serve until November, 2014.
