Speak-Off Contest

The California Association of Resource Conservation District's annual Speak-Off has begun!
This contest is for 9th- 12th graders. There will be three rounds (e.g. local, regional, statewide). Round one, the local round, is a 3–5-minute video that will be submitted online. There is more information on the Amador Resource Conservation District’s website (including the submission link) and about the prizes for each round. Students can contact the Amador RCD for resources or to ask any questions.
The deadline for the local round is September 30th. The topic this year is:
What are the different effects that native vs. non-native invasive plants have on our ecosystems, and why does it matter to the work RCDs do?
