What are Wellness & Resource Centers?

  • A newly designed, multi-functional space for school counselors to see students (elementary and jr. high)
  • Grant-funded additional support on school sites
  • A space on campus to provide specialized student support, with future plans for community services
  • High School- Wellness Centers with Mental Health Therapists for counseling, crisis intervention, and social-emotional drop-in support
  • Food Pantry, Clothing Closet, basic needs supplies
  • Specialized support specific to each campus
  • Mobile support/ delivery of items students are in need of
  • Workshops, professional development, and resource navigation for staff, students & families

The Hive

What is The Hive?

The Hive, previously known as the Staff, Student, and Family Resource Center, is officially open! 

The Hive is a welcoming space where staff, students, and families can access essential resources, basic-needs support, and guidance to help them overcome challenges and thrive.

Hours: Monday - Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm

Location: 217 Rex Ave, behind the district office (follow the signs)

Directions: Go up one-way street, Rex Ave. You can park on the street. Overflow parking is located at the ACOE/ACUSD District Office off of Sutter Street. The Hive is located in Room 17 at the lower campus of Jackson Junior High, in the building just behind the District Office.  Signage will be out to direct foot traffic. If lost, someone in the District Office can point you in the right direction.
