The ACUSD/ACOE Community Newsletter is a weekly communication from the Amador County Unified School District and Amador County Office of Education. The purpose of this newsletter is to keep our families, staff, and community members informed about our district!

Next week (March 10-14) is Spring Break! Our schools and offices will be closed for the break.
If you need to reach a staff member at the district office, please reach out with a phone call as many of our staff will be out of the office during the break.
We hope everyone has a wonderful break, and we look forward to seeing you all again on March 17!

|
Join us on Saturday, April 19th for the 3rd annual Mother Lode Earth Day 5k Run/Walk. This race will help support the Amador Cross Country team, the Amador Environmental Club, and our newest local organization, Small Change 4 Big.
There will be a 2 mile walk as an alternative to the 5k run, and race T-Shirts will be provided at the event check-in for all paid participants.
Post-race refreshments will also be provided at the Start/Finish area on beautiful Erickson Ranch. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 male & female finishers in the 5k Run.

Community Night at Amador Adult Ed
|
We are excited to have our Community Night at Amador Adult Ed on Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 4:00 to 5:30pm. This event will have various agencies present and will be an opportunity for the community to see some of the amazing resources Amador county has to offer! See the flyer for more details.

The next School Board meeting will take place on Wednesday, March 26, at the Amador County Administration Center located at 810 Court St. Jackson, CA 95642. Open Session begins at 6:30 p.m.

Student Art Represents Amador County 🎨
|
Two Amador County students, Ryss Eli Kalaw and Emily Dayton, had their art submissions selected to be displayed at the Curricular and Improvement Support Committee (CISC) Symposium in Southern California this month! Their artwork represented Amador County alongside entries from each county in California.
